Bitter.. Bitter... Oh I do get myself into....
Howdy Campers,
well long time no hear i hear you all cry and where have i been hiding? all over the shop is where, so im back in oz and im lying low cause i owe lots of money after investing in too many bulmers and i been working as a chancer, this week i was making coffee, im the barista without the piece of paper to say im qualified!
who'd of thought that you could have it so many different ways, like i give a shit cause it tastes bad anyway! so anyway im not much of a coffee bitch but im fooling even the best coffee conisoir with my bullshit...
so anyway i wont go on about coffee as there is more pressing matters at hand, you see its been one swirl of wedding since my return to oz. first there was eamonn and aileen's big day out up the coast which went without a hitch, great band, great friends, great couple and loads of craic...
so then i had a week before my drinking buddy of so many years ago and partner in crime (you all remember my buddy ferg, the same ferg who spent 3 years at uni, either drunk or asleep in my car and still managed to bullshit his way into convincing ppl he actually completed his degree) well anyway ferg and emma decided to give marriage a crack and well it was one hell of a wedding thats what i can say, lovely church, lovely day
quick stop off at the orient from the stroll from the church, then to the museum of contemporary art for the reception, no better venue to toast to the happy couple and then partake in some tasty beverages on the balcony with a stunning view of the harbour and quay, there were speeches, good on ya maggie! lovely meal and to make it all official a seige of ennis
things got messy from there, too many spins and twirls in the set dancing i think! after the reception we hit another fancy bar on the quay and then somehow i ended up on oxford st with a few more of the wedding party, dancing, drinking to the wee hours, losing my phone, keys and then to top it off waking up next to a guy that was at the wedding whom i had also gone to uni with but had not seen in over 4 years!
now settle down i had my pants on and so did he, but the two of us had 2 hell of the blue bucket captain womit hangovers to deal with! so i limped home, (thankfully todd lived in newtown also, very convenient as i dont think i could of walked any further!) no keys, no phone, struggling to keep down my own spit and trying to trace back my night to try and work out where i had lost everything... oh it was somewhere between 2 and 6am! easy done!
loz hiding this weekend!
