On location, Charlotte's Web - Melbourne
Ive had some weird jobs in my time, but up a cherry picker in country Victoria putting fake silk leaves on trees has to be one of the most surreal, having said that i was working with a great crew and even with bitter cold mornings and hot dry days Id be back down there in a flash.
Pass the word, any farmers looking for fake trees, give me a shout.

St Kilda - Melbourne
Im in love with Melbourne, its music, its people, its vibe, having said that I much prefer the other side of the river and dont tend to get to the St Kilda side much, was very surprised to find out that St Kilda beach is not a beach at all, well not what I had expected, more like a big bay.
Fitzroy, Collingwood, Northcote are much more to my liking. Maybe I been brainwashed by a higher power??

Hot Whiskey Cure for Everything!!
Bloody tonsils... I just wanna get them out!!
Every year I get tonsilitus and my body shuts down and the more I try to rest the more restless I get.
I hate being sick, Im definetly not good at it at all. The second set of antibiotics appear to be helping me more in recovery but the nightmares are terrible and I woke Dad up twice last night yelling in my sleep, I can remember running from a bear and living in a treehouse.
Oh I just hate being sick and delirious. I think ill go with old favourite tonight and have a few hot whiskeys tonight before I goto bed, that will kill all the badness in me and sweat out the rest.
Anyone that is suffering from flu or anything... here is a tried and trusted Irish receipe for you...
1. Take a glass and a teaspoon and pour boiling water into the glass to heat it and the spoon.
2. Empty the glass and then place two teaspoons of sugar into the glass (brown or white no matter)
3. Pour enough boiling water to dissolve the sugar and give it a good stir
4. Now add the whiskey, one full shot and a little drop more for good measure. I recommend Jameson or Black Bush but hey what ever you got will do (Irish whiskey is best) but in the past Ive used Jack Daniels and Jim Beam, just tastes different
5. Now add a slice of lemon and some whole cloves stuck into it, three or four are sufficient, if you got no cloves, dont panic, just go without, Im not a huge clove fan anyway
6. Add some more boiling water, enough so that the glass is almost too hot to hold, the whiskey will burn your tongue and it looks like piss
7. Drink, the quicker the better, leave it to get too cold and ya wont drink it at all!
8. Repeat at least one more time and then retreat to bed to let this old remedy work its magic.
Good Luck, and hey if ya have any better cures Id be happy to hear about them.
