The Rogues Gallery - Sydney Opera House Forecourt
In what could of been the gig of the year, with a lineup like this never seen in Oz.. The elements turned the crowd into wet and sodden ships crew that were left cold, wet, tired and in mood for mutiny.
Outstanding performances from Sarah Blasko, Gavin Friday, Sharon Shannon and Camille O'Sullivan were not enough to stop this gig from sinking.
I tried to keep up morale. Where else would you see Peter Garett and Peaches share the stage? Peaches stole the show on more than one occasion (oh how I do love thee), just a pity Marianne Faithful forgot the words and most of the other performers had hit the rum too early!
Still in all, a very ambitious undertaking and one to remember.

Laura Marling - Sydney Festival Speigel Tent
Gotta love the Speigel Tent, and with a chilled out folky set from Laura Marling Sydney is a good place to be...
With a few tasters from the new album on show Ive a new appreciation for the singer...
And with Tash not afraid to say hello, we got to meet the whole family later in the eve as we sat in the festival garden soaking up the atmosphere of the Sydney Festival
