Dolly has a ball in Auckland

howdy campers,

well its been a while between yarns, so i thought it was high time that i caught you all up on the goings on of loz in nz. well just so you know its still raining!! i think i can safely say that its warmer in tasmania and it does not rain this much in the west of ireland!! so if your planning on ever moving to nz, do yourself a favour, skip the winter!!

well work is back in full swing at the moment, building some really cool stuff, witches ice castle and stone table are coming along nicely... had a quiet weekend! needed to lock myself in the apartment so i would at least have enough for a ticket and to renew my passport so i can blow this popsical stand when the time comes!!

so how was the ball i hear you all ask!?! well it was a ball and a good time was had by all, apparently!! and if the photos are anything to go by, i met alot of women, i mean alot of women!! so for those who have not a clue what im on about, i ventured to the ol annual auckland leso ball, which was celebrating its 21st birthday and so had an 80's theme, and just like your 21st, you only have one, and must make the most of it, we did.

an early start to the preceedings with the first tasty beverage at 2pm sat and the last at 6am!! sick sunday, oh as sick as a small hospital! and was still a bit fragile for work monday!! thats what you get for mixing 2 flagons of cider with jd, bourbon and about 5 bottles of champers, hey when you think your unstoppable, you usually end up with the hangover from hell and its generally a struggle to keep down your own spit, not to mention the legal party pills they sell in thos country! legal, hmm im sure they sound not be!

we had a pre ball party at mine and keyna's apartment and then it was off to the sheraton for a night of mischief... quite a few people got into the 80's spirit and dressed to impress, let me introduce you to DOLLY. im sure the pictures speak for themselves! did you know that the most photographed women of the 80's was Dolly Parton?? (this information was found on the net so it must be true) and i was one of the most photographed women on the night!

god knows what lesbian trash mags and gay papers i ended up in, im afraid to look!! i think i was wise enough not to give my real name, but hey i had a ball, no pun intended, and even though i bordered on looking like a drag queen i think i pulled it off rather nicely, i think its the first skirt ive worn since year 12 and im definetly getting myself a pair of cowboy boots! they are HOT! my mum and aunty kathleen would be so proud!

so we danced the night away, drank too much alcohol, worked the room, oh you would be proud tommy! toby took arse phots of alot of women we did not know, and i even played a jingle on the grand piano in the hotel foyer...

with the crowd still looking for more it was time to leave and kath and kim, no really thats there names, and myself and toby headed to the club that is flesh, (tragic gay club, mostly frequented by poofs) i did change my garb for fear that the real drag queens (have you ever seen a 6'7" maori drag queen? scary) there would take me out the back and slash me with a stilletto thinking i was moving in on there territory, and then we partied on there til we all fell out the door

so all in all it was a very funny night and thats not including getting jumped in the toilet of flesh by a straight girl wanting to try it, im like try it? try what? do i have dickhead tattooed across my forehead, i think not!! at least not with your boyfriend standing outside the door!! oh and the girl who just kept buying me drink as if i wasnt drunk enough, could i pronounce her name, hmm still cant!

so yeh all is all, good job the ball comes around only once a year and im hoping i wont be there next year!! so i hope your all well and fine and please drop a line soon, ill endeavour to reply to each and every one....
