Xavier Rudd - Tamworth Country Music Festival

Now Im not sure how this lad ended up at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, but Im glad he did. This guy is great, he mixes up his set with a perfect mix of vocals, slide guitars, 6 and 12 string Acoustic/ Electric guitars, Didgeridoos and Stomp Box, Harmonicas, Aztec Drum, Slit Drum, Djembe, and Shakers. http://www.xavierrudd.com/

If you get the chance to see him, take it, I was lucky enough to see him with some great company and the venue was good, plenty of room to move and the crowd were good. Id say most of the punters were here for the boot scootin and the rest of the locals that would enjoy Xavier has escaped Tamworth before the invasion of boot scooters.

He was backed up by band, The Vasco Era, a three piece that I would definelty make a point of seeing again, like Xavier, they mix it up with slide guitars, bass, drums and percusiion. All in all a pretty damn fine mix of music for the evening.
