Counting down... Its all good when you come to my hood!

Well time in flying and it wont be long until Ill be leaving Auckland, I cant say that ill be sheading too many tears at having to leave here, its been a long slog and the Kiwi's are not the easiest race of people to get to know. Having spent six months living and working in Auckland has been quite a challenge.

I have seven working days left and the workshop is like a ghost town, most of the lads having left last Friday after we drank the Occidental dry. Cheers for the laughs lads, just for the record I did make it to work on Friday after 2 hours sleep, just didnt stay at work that long!! The strawberry Up & Go I had for breakfast was Up & Gone no sooner than it went down, and the trip back into the city was very shaky.

Last weekend it was great to have a familiar face over from Oz, cheers Sarah. Nice to catch up and relax with great company, it was also good to have someone to cause trouble on the scene in Auckland. Must of been a full moon last Saturday, cause all the nutters were out. Also made a trip down to Otara where there is traditional Pacific Islander Markets, well worth a look if you pass this way. Not only can you get a bucket of food from all the Hangi vans for $4 consisting of more meat than you could possibly digest in a week, but the area of south Auckland also been described as the closest thing to the LA ghetto outside of LA. So for a chance to see cultures interbreeding, Otara is the place to visit. "Its all good when you come to my hood" (Scribe - NZ HipHop) cause "How many dudes you know roll like this? Not many, if any. How many Dudes, got the skills to rock a show like this, not many, if any. I dont know anybody."

This week, trying to get all my affairs sorted before I leave and pack up the office at work and also all my gear at home. Mental note; must try and get help to overcome my ability to accumulate so much crap.

Long weekend this weekend, maybe the sun will shine for a change. Maybe!
